This activity is designed for physicians, nurses, and pharmacists involved in the clinical care of patients with Renal Cell Carcinoma.
Program Goal:
This activity provides clinicians with a comprehensive update on recent advances in the treatment of RCC and the role of mTOR Inhibitors and will discuss recommendations for the integration of findings into clinical practice. |

- After participating in this activity, the participants will be able to:
- Discuss current treatment paradigms in advanced RCC and provide supporting pivotal evidence.
- Describe the benefits and limitations of current treatment approaches for patients with advanced RCC.
- Explain the rationale for mTOR inhibition as a treatment strategy for RCC.
- Discuss recent clinical trial results for mTOR inhibitors in the treatment of RCC.
- Discuss evolving clinical guidelines for the treatment of patients with advanced RCC.
- Describe the rationale of current clinical trials and how emerging clinical data may impact the treatment of patients with advanced RCC.
- Apply an evidence-based approach to integration of clinical findings for new agents and novel treatment approaches and implement changes in clinical practice to optimize the management of patients with advanced RCC.
